Chat Masala Green Peas Recipe, easy & quick to make for evening tea time for your kids, family or Party.
Ingredients
- Green peas - 200 g
- Besan flour - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Dhania powder 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - as required
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Serving
- Spicy corn flakes or omapodi
- Onion chopped - 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - little
- Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Method
- Wash and Soak Green peas overnight. (5 to 6 hrs)
- Pressure cook the Green peas with enough water and cook them with a pinch of salt.
- Take Besan flour in a mixing bowl, add 1 glass of water, mix without any lumps.
- Heat 2 tbsp of Oil in a pan, add Ginger garlic paste, Red chiili powder, Dhania powder, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder and salt.
- Now add liquid besan mixture.
- Stir well, cook till raw smell of besan flour disappears.
- Keep on stirring, so as to avoid contents get sticking on to the bottom of the pan.(add little water if required)
- Add cooked green peas, cook for about 2-3 minutes with low flame.
- Now Green peas masala is ready.
Serving
- In a serving bowl add Green peas masala,
- Sprinkle finely chopped onion, coriander leaves,
- Top it with spicy corn flakes or Omapodi, and squeeze little lemon juice over it.
