Garlic to fight against cold and flu symptoms

Garlic is not only a food source but also a medicine used for thousands of years in India and now emerging all through the world as a health supplement for aiding digestion and reduce gastric symptoms. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that is very effective in the times of winter season where flu and cold infections are very common.

Also garlic can be added along with other herbs such as turmeric, ginger and pepper for quick results.

Pregnant women should not consume raw garlic as it may increase the overall heat of the body. Garlic supplements can be taken as a health supplement but the market has many adulterated products that should be taken into account before going for such supplement based treatment.
