TN govt to offer Pongal gift package

An announcement has been made by the state government of Tamil Nadu regarding the Pongal festival special gift package for the public.
In an announcement released by the state Chief Minister E. Palanisamy in this regard, the Pongal gift pack will consist of 1 kg raw rice, 1 kg sugar, 2’ long sugarcane piece, 20 grams cashew nuts, 20grams raisin, and 5 grams cardamom.
This Pongal gift packages will be offered to all family card holders and Sri Lanka Tamil people in camps before Pongal festival in all the Fair Price Shops.
