Deadline given for correction of personal data for +1 Public Exam candidates

Deadline has been extended up to 23rd January to make corrections in the personal details such s name, address, etc for the students who are set to write the +1 Public Examination.
For the schools under the Tamil Nadu State government syllabus, the Public Examinations for the +1 students are set to commence on 6th March.
More than 8 Lakhs students are writing this. Further, students who failed in some subjects in the year 2018 are also writing. The personal details of all the students, including names, etc., were registered in the schools and sent to the Examination Board. Out of this, it was found that there were some errors. Further, the personal data of some students were missing.
Subsequently, in order to correct the same, the State government examination boards have given time till 23rd January. The Director of the state examination board, Vasundhara Devi, has informed that the school headmasters/principals may carry out corrections online till tomorrow (Tuesday, 22nd January) and the district primary education officials can carry out the corrections online till 23rd January.
