IPR Defaulters List has 20 from TN

The Union Government has released the list of defaulters who have not paid the Immovable Property Returns (IPR). 20 IAS officers from Tamil Nadu feature in the list that has over 1000 names. There are a total of 273 officials in Tamil Nadu.
Those mentioned include retired officer Rakesh Kumar Yadav. His name is part of the list for the second consecutive year. Also featured are Controller of Examinations V. Shobana, JC of Commercial Taxes Mariam Farhana Sadiq, MD of Chennai Metro Dr. Chandra Mohan and MD of TAHDCO A. Suganthi.
The list is released by the Government’s Dept. of Personnel and Training. All officers are required to declare assets belonging to them as well as their spouses by Dec. 31st every year.
