Chennai’s IOB wins basketball tournament

The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) team of Chennai has won the Prize Money First Invitational Basketball Tournament organized by the Chandigarh Sports Department in Chandigarh on Tuesday. The team beat Dehradun’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) by a whopping 71-57. Round scores were 17-16, 23-9, 17-12, 14-20.
The team will bring home a trophy and a Rs. 1.75 lakh cash award. The runners up received Rs. 75,000 and a trophy.
