Polio drops administration camp on 10th March

The system of administering free polio drops in 2 installments to the children in the age group below 5 years was introduced from the year 1995 with the aim of protecting the children from polio attack.
In this year (2019), it has been planned to administer polio drops to the children below 5 years of age only on day-after-tomorrow (Sunday, 10th March). Polio drops administration booths have been set up in the primary health centres, branch health centres, government hospitals, Corporation Maternity Hospitals, Nutrition Meals Centres, Society halls, schools, bus stations, an railway stations.
The camp will function from 7 AM to 5 PM. It has been informed that irrespective of the number of times polio drops have been administered to the child, it is still ok to get the children administered with polio drops in this camp as well!
