Exclusively for the +2 students who desire to become teachers, Tamil Nadu Central University has on offer, new, integrated 4-years Course B. Sc., B. Ed.  Applications have to be sent before 13th April.

The entrance examination for the above 4-year integrated B. Sc., B. Ed. course is scheduled to be conducted during May. The interested candidates have to apply online before 13th April.

The Tamil Nadu Central University is located in Neelakkudi, near Thiruvarur. The University offers integrated 5-year courses for M. Sc. (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physiology, and Physics) and M. A. (Economics) and a 5-year integrated course on Mathematics B.Sc., B. Ed.

39 seats are available for the integrated postgraduate courses. 5 seats are available for the integrated B. Sc., B. Ed. course.

Out of the above courses, the B. Sc., B. Ed. course is considered unique and special. Why? Because, if the students pursue the normal course of doing B. Sc. and then B. Ed., they will spend 5 years whereas this above-integrated course is only of 4-years duration. Thus, it would be of specific advantage for the students who desire to take up the teaching profession. The students who had taken the elective subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in their 12th Standard can join this course.

Admissions for all courses including the integrated courses are done on the basis of entrance examination performance.

Now, Tamil Nadu Central University has released the dates of the entrance examinations for the curses to be on 25th and 26th May. The results will be released on 21st June. Tamil Nadu Central University has informed that the students interested in the integrated M.A. and M. Sc. Courses and also the B. Sc., B. Ed, course must apply online before 13th April.
