A. Ganesha Murthi is an Indian politician and a former member of the Parliament of India from Erode Constituency.
He represents the MDMK (Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) party. He is the only candidate elected from MDMK during 15th Lok Sabha election.
Ganeshamurthi is a two-time MP, who had represented Palani in the 12th Lok Sabha in 1998 and Erode in 2009.

The Parliamentary Constituency of Erode is one of the 39 Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. 14,62,076 is the total electorate count in the Erode Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 12), Out of these 7,15,617 number of electorates are males and the remaining 7,46,355 are belong to the female category and 104 are belong to Third Gender as the Election commission of India 2019 reports suggest.
