Harikrishnan Vasanthakumar (born April 14, 1950) is an Indian businessman and politician from Tamil Nadu, India. He is the founder and chairman of Vasanth & Co, the largest retail home appliance chain with 80+ showrooms across Tamil Nadu.
He is also the founder and Managing Director of Tamil satellite channel Vasanth TV. A two-time MLA, he is presently representing the Nanguneri constituency of Tirunelveli district.

The Parliamentary Constituency of Kanniyakumari is one of the 39 Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. 14,93,509 is the total electorate count in the Kanniyakumari Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 12), Out of these 7,53,267 number of electorates are males and the remaining 7,40,083 are belong to the female category and 159 are belong to Third Gender as the Election commission of India 2019 reports suggest.
