The auspicious Sudarshana Homam will be conducted at Tirupati for 3 days starting Monday. The last Sudarshana Homam was conducted 8 years ago.
The ritual which is believed to benefit the entire world will conducted by 20 vedic pundits, fifteen of whom belong to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The Homam will be between 7am and 11am and then between 5 pm and 8 pm on Monday and Tuesday (25th and 26th). On Wednesday, it will be between 7am and 11am, where devotees will be allowed to participate. Wednesday is also the auspicious day of Uttiram during the month of Panguni and Srinivasa Kalyanam will be held to celebrate followed by the Garuda Vahanam.
