Petroleum Ministry order companies to meet cooking gas demamds

The control on LPG cylinders has resulted in difficulties for households that have joint families. As these households many have multiple kitchens, the numbers of subscribers for cylinders is more per house. The list of new customers for cooking gas cylinders increases day by day. The Union Petroleum Ministry has announced that gas suppliers look into their new customers at the earliest.
The last 4 months have seen 57 lakh new connections for cooking gas cylinders. Another 4,31,000 are in queue. Following the order by the Ministry, oil companies are working towards meeting the demand.
