Dr N Panchapakesan, founder, Chennai Sai Sankara Matrimonials, bestowed with a Degree of Doctorate - Degree of Doctor of Social Work - by the Global Peace University of the United States of America at a special function held by them at Sir P. T. Thyagaraya Arangam, T Nagar, Chennai on 26th June 2019.
On this happy and proud occasion of the deserving recognition accorded, Dr N. Panchapakeasn has issued a special personal notice acknowledging this with thanks. Here is his notification:
‘The award was given in recognition of my various services to the Society in the Field of Matrimonial, Welfare of Differently-abled people and the students over the past 25 years. Though I have done something unique, I honestly feel, compared to so many people, what I have done is very minimal! Yet, I have accepted the Award with all humility as a stepping stone to doing much more.
On the day getting the Award, I visited Kanchi Acharya at Sri Sankara School, Thorappakkam, Chennai to seek his blessings. After going through the invitation, he fondly called me as ‘Munaivar Panchapakesan’ and blessed me with smiles and cheers. There will always remain with me in my mind and heart!
Then, I had the rare opportunity of addressing the gatherings by way of inaugurating the Gowri Pooja in presence of the Acharya, After my address, Acharya addressed the gathering for about 45 minutes keeping me also along with him in the dais!
I felt greatly honoured and consider this much more prestigious than even the Award! With the blessings of the Almighty and my Guru, I am confident of doing much more to the society in the days to come in my journey towards excellence. I seek your good wishes and support always!
