Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Tamil Nadu on 31st July for the Darshan of Lord Athi Varadhar.
The Prime Minister will have the Darshan of Lord Athi Varadhar in the ‘lying posture’ (Sayanitha thorukkolam in Tamil). He will return to Chennai by a helicopter.
He will stay for the night at Chennai, Guindy Raj Bhavan and then the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will again visit Kanchipuram the next morning (1st August) to have a Darshan of Lord Athi Varadhar in the ‘Standing Posture’ (Nindra Thirukkolam in Tamil).
The Central Home Minister Amit Shah and the central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharamn would accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Secretary of the PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) conducted a review meeting at Kanchipuram with the concerned officials.
