A free ‘Skill development’ training programme is being organised for the unemployed youth from minority communities.
Arrangements have been made to organise free technical skill development programme for the unemployed youth belonging to the minority community cadre at the Central Footwear Training Institutes functioning at Wallajabad through TOMCO aided by the National Minorities Development and Finance Commission.
In this programme, 46-days training programmes will be on stitcher (goods and garments) and Pre-assembly operator.
Candidates belonging to Minority communities such as Muslim, Christian, Buddhism, Sikhs, and Jains are eligible to apply.
The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 5 Lakhs and the candidate must be in the age group 18-55.
The Chennai District administration has informed that the interviews for the above programme will be conducted from 10.00 AM on 20th September at the Wallajabad Central Footwear Training Institute. Eligible and interested candidates are welcome to join.
