Further extension of the deadline to correct in the voter list!

The deadline for carrying out corrections required in the voters` details have been extended for a second time until 18th November.
It had been announced earlier that the draft of the final voters’ list would be released on 15th October. The task of verification of the corrected voters’ details was to be conducted from 1st September to 30th September. Later, the time period for this task was extended up to 15th October.
In this scenario, the Chief Election Commissioner Satyaprada Sahu has announced that the deadline for correcting details in the voters’ list has been extended for a second time until 18th November.
Individuals interested in carrying out corrections in the voters’ particulars can now avail of this extended deadline and may do the needful.
Once the verification of the corrected details gets completed, the draft final voters’ list is scheduled to be released on 25th November.
