The corridors of the Lord Iyappa temple are to be opened from tomorrow (17th October) for performing the Poojas during the Tamil calendar month of ‘Aippasi’.
Traditionally, the corridors are opened in the famous Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimalai for every Tamil Calendar month for performing special poojas.
Accordingly, for performing the special poojas during the Tamil calendar month of Aippasi, Melsanthi Vasudevan Namboodri will open the temple corridors at 5.00 PM tomorrow (Thursday, 17th October) in the presence of Tanthiri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanaru.
As usual, the temple corridors will be closed at 10.00 PM on that day and will open again at 5.00 AM on 18th October. Subsequently, Nirmalya Darisanam, Ganapathy Homam, and ‘nei’ (clarified butter) Abhshekham will all be performed.
At 6.00 PM, Deeparadhanai, Pushpabhishekham, and Padi Pooja will be performed. After the special poojas, the temple corridors of Lord Ayyappa temple will be closed at 10.00 PM on 22nd October.
