For passengers to book tickets on Deepavali special buses, 30 counters to be opened

To book the tickets on the Deepavali special services from Chennai city, 30 ticket counters would be opened soon.

It is worthy to mention that in Koyambedu as many as 26 ticket counters would function and in Tambaram as many as 2 counters would function for the passengers. There would be one counter in Poonamallee and one counter in Madhavaram bus stands. This was as per an official communication from the transport department.  On Thursday at Koyambedu, a special reservation counter would be opened by the transport minister.

There would also be many feeder service buses to other bus stands from where the Deepavali specials would be operated to several places in TN as well in AP. Commuters would be able to reach the bus stands without any issue. The communication also revealed that as many as 4630 special buses would be operated from 27th October to 30th October to help people return.

Beginning from Thursday, there would be Deepavali special buses from Chennai to various places in TN and AP.

It must be noted that till Monday 43,635 passengers had reserved tickets to travel from Chennai to various destinations in TN. From various districts, 23,138 passengers have booked tickets until now to reach their destinations.
