It was in the year 2017, Doxtro a Chennai based start-up was launched. In the last 2 years, this Doxtro has been helping many patients to get the doctor consultation anywhere and at anytime within few minutes through smart phone.
This mobile application has been doing tremendously during the medical emergencies. It must be taken into account that during the medical emergencies only quick response from doctor is required by the patients. By chat or by voice call, Doxtro connects the people in need with the medical experts and specialists. It is superb to note that this mobile application, Doxtro, provides comprehensive online health and wellness services including medicine delivery, lab services and home health care services at the user’s doorsteps.
Mr. Gowthaman, CEO, Doxtro Technologies, mentioned about how their mission was to promote fast, affordable and accessible healthcare. He highlighted that in the cities people do not have time to fix an appointment, travel to the hospital and wait in the queues etc.
By taking the responses from the users to assigning them the right specialist doctors, Doxtro Genie an AI engine does superbly. Once the consultation gets over, the users would receive e-prescription from the doctors and order for medicines and tests. Important information is the user would be able to consult the same doctor to clarify the doubts without any additional charge and this would be in the 48hour window. The health records of the users could be shared with the doctors in complete privacy and security.
It was later revealed by Mr. Gowthaman that a three step on-boarding process is being used to verify all the doctors on the platform and only after the verifications the doctors would become active to provide their consultation to the users. Important piece of information is Doxtro app is available in both android as well as in iOS users.
