A notification issued by CMRL in this regard:
The telecommunication Service provider, Airtel, has decided to offer 4G data and voice services on the blue and green tracks except for the 3 railway stations at Central, LIC, and Thousand Lights.

A landline calling service has already been provided at the 19 underground Metro Stations for the facility of the passengers/commuters. This landline facility can be used free during emergencies. This facility is located at the passengers’ waiting place. Each platform has been given 2 separate landline numbers. During any emergency, it is easily possible to contact the CMRL staff.
