In the future, if you visit the Villivakkam Lake you could come across de-silting, earth work, stone fixing for bund formation, walking and bicycle track, children’s play area, food court, suspension bridge, tunnel etc. These would be some of the attractions here and this was as per a senior official of GCC.
Under the ‘Smart City’ programme, Villivakkam Lake is being ecologically restored and there would be facilities for the people of all age groups are known. It is now brought out that this lake would become a major tourist attraction by the month of March in 2020.
