Prospects for heavy rains in 5 districts in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for heavy rains in 5 districts in Tamil Nadu due to the thermal convective rain phenomenon.
The Chennai Regional Meteorological officials informed that there are [ros[ects for heavy rains in 1 or 2 places in the 5 district. There are prospects of mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places in Thiruvannamalai, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Theni, Trichy, and Karur.
It is further informed that due to shifting wind speeds, this heavy rain may prevail until 27th November. Also, the northeast monsoon rainy season is likely to intensify.
The Chennai Metro city will remain cloudy. There are prospects of mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places in the city.
