Holiday for Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu District Schools and Colleges: Heavy Rain

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in most parts of Tamil Nadu today (Thursday, 27th November) due to the prevailing low-pressure zone and the cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
It has been raining since midnight yesterday in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs. However, the district administrations have announced today that the schools and colleges will function as usual.
The schools and colleges of Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu district collectors have announced holiday today (Thursday, 27th November).
