The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has released the newer version of the Aadhar App with an objective to make it more secure and safe.
This ‘M Aadhar App; operates on the Android and IoS platforms. It can be operated in 13 languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Odiya, Urdu, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, and Assamese.
In a special press notification, UIDAI has urged the users to immediately change over to this new App for Aadhar. The other Apps related will not function.
The users can operate several features related to Aadhar including the activities of downloading the Aadhar card, creating QWR Code, changing/correcting address, confirming the e-mail ID, etc.
Apart from this, the user can lock or unlock Aadhar or biometric features.
However, Aadhar holders need to register their Aadhar profile in this App in order to operate the special features.
In order to use the M Aadhar App, the users must have registered their mobile numbers in the UIDAI. After registering the mobile number, the users can download their Aadhar details on the M Aaadhar App.
