One of the highly popular eye hospitals in Chennai is Dr Agarwal Group of Eye Hospitals found by Dr Jaiveer Agarwal. This hospital has been doing great service for the people are known.
The superb news is UK based financial institution has sanctioned an amount of Rs 215 crores for the Dr Agarwal group of eye hospitals. It is now revealed that by using the funds as many as 60 more eye hospitals would be built in Africa, India and South Asia etc. This would be done by the year 2023.
For future expansion plans, this group has already received an amount of Rs 270 crores from Singapore based investment form named Temasek. In places like Coimbatore and Mumbai, new eye hospitals were opened last week is known. The point is the hospital would focus on introducing new treatment options for those with retina damage caused due to diabetes.
It was later brought out by the chairman of Dr Agarwal group of eye hospitals, Dr Amar Agarwal, that reduced vision in diabetes affected patients and blindness due to cataract were two major eye issues for which the hospital would be introducing new treatment methods. He concluded that for treating patients with keratoconus issue, pinhole pupil correction would be available at all his hospitals.
