Do not have ration/Aadhar card to get Pongal gift? There are other avenues!

The Pongal Gift Package announced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu is all set to be distributed from the PDS/ration shops from 9th January!
- This Pongal Gift Package can be obtained by taking the ration card to the shop.
- Those who have lost/misplaced ration cards can take the Aadhar card of any of the members listed in the ration card and get the Gift package.
- If Aadhar card is not available, one can take the mobile phone as entered in the ration card. When the ration shop staff enter this cell number on their systems, an ‘OTP’ (One Time Password) will be sent to that particular mobile phone. The buyer can inform this OTP received from the ration shop and then get the Pongal Gift package!
