Posted on: 24/Apr/2013 10:32:18 AM
The first of the three lunar eclipses in 2013 will take place on the night of the 25th and early morning of 26th April. The numbral eclipse will take place for just 27 minutes, where the earth’s shadow will partially darken the moon. The other eclipses of the year are prenumbral. The next such eclipse will be only in April of 2014.

The eclipse will be visible from Eastern Europe, Eastern Africa, Central Asia and Western Australia. Moon rise in the eastern parts of South America will be when the eclipse is in progress. However, the eclipse will not be visible from North America.
