Arudra Darisanam: Special buses to be operated by TNSTC to Chidambaram

In view of Arudra darisanam at the popular Chidambaram Natarajar temple on 9th January 2020, TNSTC, Villupuram division, would be operating special buses to Chidambaram.
To help the devotees reach the Chidambaram temple, around 100 buses would be operated from Villupuram depot. This was according to a release from TNSTC.
It is worth mentioning that the pournami or full moon day for the ‘Margazhi’ month begins from 2:45 a.m. on Friday morning, 10th January. It ends on Saturday, 11th January at 1:43 a.m.
Many devotees undertake girivalam on this full moon day and for the sake of devotees, the special buses would be operated on Friday and on Saturday.
For the benefit of devotees, buses would be operated from places like Chennai, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Cheyyar, Arni and Vandavasi etc. It is revealed that the devotees could make use of these bus services from the temporary bus stands that would be erected in the temple town of Tiruvannamalai.
