3-days Pongal Special Arts festival at Chennai Metro Railway Stations!

A 3-day Pongal special Arts Festival is organised on behalf of the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).
A notification released by CMRL in this regard mentions:
Annual Pongal Special Arts Festival is being celebrated every year on behalf of the Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Accordingly, for the year 2020, The Pongal Special Arts Festival is being celebrated on 9th, 10th, and 11th January.
This Pongal Special 3-days Arts festival is on behalf of the Chennai Metro Rail Limited, who has joined hands with the South Culture Centre located in Thanjavur and will feature the various arts and cultural events of the South Indian States. The celebrations will be at Metro Rail Stations of Saidapet, Central, and Thirumangalam.
Accordingly, the celebrations will be at Saidapet Metro Station on 9th January, at Central Metro Station on 10th January and at Thirumangalam Metro Station on 11th January commencing at 5.45 PM.
The cultural performance would include Oppana dance, Dolukunitha hop-music dance, thappattam, etc.
CMRL has made special arrangements for the Chennai citizens to enjoy this 3-day Pongal Special Arts performance. Entry is free for all. So, the Metro Rail passengers, the public, and the boys/girls students of all schools and colleges are invited to join ont5his special event.
