Want relief from constipation issue, eat these vegetables

Many these days get affected with constipation issue. It is termed as the bowel movements that are hard to pass or infrequent. There are few reasons for constipation such as being inactive, stress, consuming lots of dairy products, overuse of laxatives etc.

It is said that by exercising or by doing yoga etc a person could get rid of this constipation issue.

Prolonged constipation could result in the swollen abdomen, haemorrhoids, anal fissures etc.

There are some vegetables that could be consumed to get relief from constipation issue.

Broccoli intake:

By consuming broccoli, digestion gets promoted and this is due to the presence of sulforaphane in broccoli. The gut gets protected. Overgrowth of some intestinal microorganisms that could interfere with healthy digestion is prevented by this sulforaphane. There would be quicker bowel movements.

Sweet potato intake:

It is believed that the presence of water, fibre, magnesium, and vitamin B6 in sweet potato act as a laxative and could help us to avoid constipation issue. Bowel movements get better.

Spinach intake:

By consuming spinach, we could get relief from constipation issues. Here fibres and magnesium in spinach does superbly and helps the colon to flush things out from our body.

Brussels sprouts intake:

It is known that Brussels sprouts are rich in fibre and folate. These add bulk to the stools. This could make us pass stools easily. Constipation gets prevented.

Green beans intake:

There would be better digestion when we eat green beans that are rich in fibres. The bowel movement gets better. It is said that the fibre in green beans makes it an effective fighter against constipation issue.

Cucumber intake:

When we consume cucumber, it soothes our intestines. Bowel movement is promoted in us. Fact is cucumber is rich in water content and hence this vegetable is superb to get relief from the constipation issue.
