The deadline given for making corrections in NEET applications gets over on Friday, 31st January.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Examination (NEET), a pass in which is mandatory for pursuing graduate medical courses - MBBS, BDS, Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy is scheduled to be conducted on 3rd May. The registration for application forms for this year NEET commenced on 2nd December. Initially, it was announced that the deadline for submission of application was set on 31st December 2019.
In this situation, granting the requests from the students, the deadline was extended until 6th January. Accordingly, in this extended deadline, 1.5 Lakhs candidates from Tamil Nadu and over 16 Lakhs candidates throughout the country had submitted applications according to the information received.
In this scenario, the activity of making corrections in the submitted applications was taken up from 15th January. It is gathered that so far, thousands of candidates have utilised this and made the required corrections in their applications for NEET. The deadline for making the corrections is set on 31st January. It is expected that there would be a further increase in the number of corrected applications!
