The famous ‘Mughul Gardens’ located in the Rashtrapathi Complex (Indian President’s Residence Complex) in New Delhi will be open for public visit on 5th February.
In an interview with the Assistant ‘Media’ Secretary Nimesh Rastogi of the India President, it was shared:
President Ramnath Govind is scheduled to inaugurate the the festival, ‘Udhyanitsav’ on Tuesday (4th February) to facilitate as the annual day on which the public is allowed to visit the Mughul Gardens situated in the New Delhi Rashtrapathi Complex.
Subsequently, the public will be allowed to visit the Mughul gardens from 5th February.
The Mughul Garden will be open for the public until 8th March. Visiting hours are from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
However, the garden will remain closed on all Mondays for maintenance works. The public can visit the Mughul Garden free!
Individuals interested in visiting the Mughul Gardens need to register in advance online at the following websites:

Further, those who visit without an online booking will be allowed through the 35th Entry Gate located at the North Avenue of the Rashtrapathi Complex.
However, there will be a separate queue for the individuals who booked online.
A special arrangement has been made to facilitate agriculturists, differently-abled persons, army personnel, Supplementary army personnel, Delhi Police personnel to visit the Mughul Gardens on 11th March from 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
For the visually-impaired differently-abled persons, the herbal the garden will remain especially open from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM These visitors are requested to enter through the Entry Gate No, # 12 located in the North Avenue.
The public visiting the Mughul Gardens will be allowed to enter through the Entry Gate # 35 located in the North Avenue. This entrance is located at the end of the Church Road, around 300 metres away from the West section of the Cathedral Church.
Invitation to visit the Museum as well!
The Public Relations Officer of the Museum in the Rashtrapathi Complex, Kumar Samresh, has appealed to the public visiting the Mughul Gardens to visit the Museum as well!
In this regard, he shared with the press:
A number of treasured items during the period of the independence struggle, important items/articles about the father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian Constitution, and the various gifts given to the different Indian Presidents are all on display here for the public to see and enjoy and assimilate. We have also displayed several topics studied by the students as per their syllabus. So, a large number of students must visit this Museum!’
10,000 Tulip Flowers
In this current year’s display (2020), a variety of flowers including flowers generally grown abroad and also around 10,000 Tulip Flowers in different colours will be on display! Various flower-spread decorations/arrangements using these flowers will also be on display. Further, plants which facilitate cleansing of the air will also be on display!
Rare roses including the rare black and blue coloured-roses and roses of 138 varieties will be on display. The rose plant gifted by Monaco Prince will also be on display. Further, seasonally flowering 70 varieties of flowers will also be displayed.
Apart from this, vegetables and fruits grown in organic procedure at the Rashtrapathi Complex will also be on display.
