Introduction of a pilgrimage trip to SOUTH Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

For the benefit of the ardent devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba, the South Shirdi Baba temple administration has introduced a pilgrimage trip to Shirdi temple on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC).

This Sai Baba temple, located in a place called ‘South Shirdi’ in the village of Akkaraippatti near Samayapuram on the Trichy National Highway.

In an area covering 15000 sq ft, the ‘Dhyana Mandapam’ is on the ground floor and the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Sai Baba is on the 1st floor. Further, there are separate Sanctum Sanctorum for gods Vinayakar, Anjaneyar, Krishna, and Datatreyar.

The temple has been constructed around a neem tree! The temple is the largest Sai Baba temple in Asia.

A pilgrimage has been arranged for a visit to this temple on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.

A deluxe air-conditioned bus will start every Thursday from the Headquarters of TTDC at 5.00 AM and will reach Shirdi by 12.30 PM.

Once the ‘Aarathi Darshan’ is performed in the evening in the temple, the bus returns to Chennai by 7.30 PM.

Breakfast will be served at Ukundhurpettai, lunch in the temple,  and the evening snacks are served.

The fare all-inclusive is Rs. 1500 per person.
