Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has carried out 6 changes in the TNPSC Group examinations formats and procedure including Aadhar card being mandatory and has announced the same.

A lot of illegal operations were carried out in TNPSC Group-4 and Group-2A examinations which came to the open in recent times. Several people have been nabbed on this front.

Jayakumar, who acted as the middle-man or broker, surrendered at the Chennai Saidapet Court. CBCID ordered him to be kept in jail custody for 7 days.

With these extreme negative developments, the significance of TNPSC examinations has come under severe scrutiny and trust-worthless!

In this situation, TNPSC has made some bold changes in the existing formats and procedure and has announced the same. It has made several changes which would increase the transparency of conducting these examinations. Also, TNPSC is actively in the process of making some constructive changes to prevent maloperations.

As a 1st Phase for the changes, it will implement 6 decisions forthwith.

The changes:
Once the procedure for the examinations is completed, the list of the candidates will be uploaded on the net.

Once the examinations are completed, the copies of the candidates’ answer-papers can be obtained online after payment.

During the days of counselling, the list of the selections made department-wise, district-wise, and reservation quota-wise (and the vacancies if any) will be released at the nd of the day.

Candidates will be allowed to opt for any 3 districts for writing the examination. However, to simplify this option, TNPSC itself will select the centre.

In order to prevent a single candidate submitting more than 1 application, Addhar card will be made mandatory while applying. During the examination, finger[rints will be checked and compared and then checked and only if proper, the candidates will be allowed to write the examinations.

In case there are any maloperations, they will be detected early, and in order to prevent it spreading, Hi-tech devise/system would be deployed for the ensuing examinations.

Apart from this, TNPSC has announced that changes will be carried out in all other avenues of conducting the examinations and these would be announced and implemented.
