Drinking water let out from Poondi to Puzhal water reservoir at 100 cubics.ft per second!

Drinking water is being transferred from the Chennai Poondi Reservoir to Chennai Puzhal water reservoir at the speed of 100 cubics.ft per second. The capacity od Puzhal water reservoir is 3300 million cubics.ft. Presently, it has 2,557 million cubics.ft of water. The water inflow to Puzhal reservoir is 75 cubics.ft per second. For catering to the Chennai citizens, the outflow is maintained at 87 cubics.ft per second.
