Effective control of spreading of COVID-19 is the need of the hour now!!

For this above said purpose, TN IPS police officer Mr. Rohith Nathan and his wife who is a paediatrician have submitted a proposal to the ministry of home affairs. As per the proposal, a technology involving analysis of technical data, artificial intelligence or AI and geo- fencing etc could be utilized to track a person affected with COVID-19.

It was later revealed by the police officer Mr. Rohith Nathan, SP of Sivaganga that the ministry had approved his proposal in principle.

Many Corona virus infected persons would have come in contact with other healthy persons. By the use of technology, it is possible to trace people who have come in contact with the corona virus affected persons and then assessment of their health condition for treatment or isolation could be done.

Information Is the system would make sure that those persons recommended for isolation would follow the set protocol strictly and they do not create issue for others who are not infected by the Corona virus.

Last fortnight, the proposal was sent to the Centre and the part of this proposal included analysing precise location coordinates, movement and other activities of the infected/isolated persons to assess risk ratio. It also included launching of mitigation plans. On Monday, the police officer Mr. Rohith was invited to give a presentation to a panel of Joint secretaries in New Delhi. Soon, in principle the proposal might get implemented across India. This was mentioned by Mr. Rohith.
