The State Government of Tamil Nadu has stressed to the doctors in the state that there are around 1.5 Lakhs pregnant women in Tamil Nadu and good care must be taken on them
In order to counter the raging coronavirus pandemic, both the central and state governments have been taking various preventive activities against the spreading. As a part of this, lockdown has been imposed throughout the country.
Section 144 has been imposed in Tamil Nadu. The government has been strongly emphasising that the citizens must adopt social distance. Grocery/vegetable shops and pharmacies have been exempted from the lockdown. Ambulances carrying patients are first enquired thoroughly and then only allowed to move.
In this situation, there are around 1.5 Lakhs pregnant women in Tamil Nadu State awaiting delivery during April/May.
The state government of Tamil Nadu has insisted that the doctors must take special care of these pregnant women!
In case emergency medical help is needed, the relatives of the pregnant women can immediately call 102 or 104. The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced that immediate medical assistance will be rendered.
With the month end having arrived, this is the time when the monthly salary of employees are calculated – with all the academic institutions (schools, colleges) and the private secto aompanies also closed, a major difficulty is encountered in the preparation and dispersal of the employees monthly salary!
Subsequently, the state government of Tamil Nadu has instructed the corporations and district collectors that 2 or 3 employees may be permitted to enter and work on the salary preparation/dispersal activity in the various schools/colleges/private sector companies on 30th, 31st March and 1st April.
