It is known that even in this 21 day lock down period many come out of their homes unnecessarily as they feel bored in their homes. Chennai police personnel have been trying many ways to prevent the people from coming out of their houses.
The latest news is a gana song is being used by the Chennai police to create awareness about Covid-19. It is brought out that this gana song is highlighting the hard work done by the government including doctors and police to prevent the spread of Corona virus.
The police personnel belonging to Pulianthope have been responsible for this gana song and this 5.3 minute song has been sung by ‘Gana’ Bala. Composer Sabesh Solomon has scored the music for this song. It is worthy to note that this gana song asks everybody to be careful and not to spread false news about Corona virus.
The gana song also highlights the importance of obeying the government orders and staying indoors. In the past also, ‘Gana’ Bala has sung songs for the sake of Chennai police.
On the Kamarajar Salai in Chennai, many women cops belonging to Crime against Women and Children Wing led by DCP H. Jayalakshmi took part in a demo on hand washing and social distancing.
For those who violate the norms and roam on the roads with their vehicles, police personnel have adopted a new method of marking the vehicles with a yellow tilak.
