ICMR: Coronavirus high-speed test equipment (5 Lakhs) will be despatched to all states!

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has announced that 5-lakhs high-speed test-kit for detecting coronavirus will be given to all the states during this week.
The Head of the ICMR Infectious Diseases Wing, Raman R. Gangakhedkar informed that these will be with the states in 2 days’ time and the quantity will be based on the extent of the requirement on the number of affected/suspected cases.
Meanwhile, undertaking testing the samples taken from the nose and throat to conduct the `RT-P.C.R.` method will take 12 hours to 24 hours for the test.
However, with the high-speed testing kit, the extent/condition of the antibodies (body natural resistance to illnesses/diseases)can be checked and informed within 45 minutes to 2 hours!
However, this antibodies measure can be done only 7 to 10 days after being infected! As such, it is observed that these high-speed test kits may not be accurate enough!
