Airline Companies refuse to refund the reservation flight fare!

With the announcement of the extension of the 2nd Phase of lockdown conditions until 3rd May, the airline companies have refused to refund the (canceled) flight fare fort eh advance booking done.
Earlier, the flight services were stopped until 14th April and as such, many private airline companies allowed reservation for the flights scheduled from 15th April
In this situation, with the recent announcement on the extension of the lockdown until 3rd May, many passengers have been canceling the reservation done for the flights.
However, the private airline companies refused to refund and instead informed that the passengers can use these flight bookings/tickets when flying on a later date!
