Prospects for rain in Theni, Virudhunagar, Nellai, Thoothukudi, and Kumari districts!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for mild to medium rain in the districts of Theni, Virudhunaga, Nellai, Thoothukudi, and Kumari.

In a notification released in this regard it is mentioned:

 Due to the convection rain phenomenon, there are prospects for mild to medium rain in 1 or 2 places in the Theni, Virudhunaga, Nellai, Thoothukudi, and Kumari districts in the next 24 hours!

However, the dry climate will persist in other districts, Puducherry, and Karaikkal.

A maximum temperature of 40 Degrees Celsius might be recorded in the next 2 days in the districts of Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Virudhunagar, Vellore and Tiruthani.

Hence, the farmers and the public are advised not to venture out in the open air outdoors and not to work in an open area from 11.30 AM to 3.00 PM!

As regards Chennai, Metro City, it will be cloudy in the morning sessions and clear in the evening sessions. A maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26 Degrees Celsius may be recorded.
