Text Books publishing to commence today (20th April)!

The activity of publishing text books which had been stopped under lockdown conditions is now set to resume from today (Monday, 20th April)!
The activities of publishing text books for various subjects for all classes from 1st Standard to +2 for the students studying under the Tamil Nadu Government syllabus has been in full progress over the last few months on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Text Book Council.
Meanwhi9le, with the onset of the raging coronavirus pandemic, a preventive4 measure against its spread was done through lockdown imposition. This brought the publishing activities above to a standstill.
In the current scenario, the publishing activity is all set to resume from today (Monday, 29th April).
The Tamil Nadu Text Books and Educational Service Council has insisted that all the employees working in the publishing offices and the godowns where books are stored to resume duty.
This means that all officers under cadres A and B, 33% of the employees under the cadres C and D will need to attend duty.
Further, these employees as above MUST wear face masks to prevent from coronavirus infection and also MUST maintain the social distancing. They need to use the disinfectants and clean regularly. To facilitate this, disinfectants must be kept at various locations.
