With the lockdown imposition throughout the country as a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic, set to conclude on 3rd May, the central government has announced that certain conditions are being relaxed from today (Monday, 20th April),

In this situation, the Central Home Secretary Ajay Balla has sent a letter to all state governments and the Union Territories.

It is mentioned in this letter:

“Certain relaxations on the present lockdown imposition have already been announced by the central government with the regulations and guidelines in all areas except the identified ‘hot-spots’(where the impact of the coronavirus has been maximum).

Subsequently, the employees are permitted to resume duties in the manufacturing units, factories, construction areas, and National Rural Job Opportunity Projects.

The State Governments and the Union Territories must provide all necessary facilities for the employees to resume and attend duties.

The State Governments and the Union Territories must register the names of the workers/employees allowed to stay in the special camps and note down their skills to employ them accordingly.”
