GCC Commissioner: Violations will lead to Rs. 100 penalty and 14 days isolation!

Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner Prakash has warned that any violations in the implemented restrictions will entail Rs. 100 penalty and Isolation for 14 days.
He further informed us that the licenses of the sho will be canceled in case of violation of the restrictions! He also insisted that social distancing between 2 persons must be 1 meter!
There has been a trend of an increase of coronavirus infection in Tamil Nadu, especially, Chennai Metro City! So far, 906 persons have been infected in Chennai Metro City.
Greater Chennai Corporation has undertaken a variety of initiatives to prevent the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic, As per the Tamil Nadu government Order, shops are allowed to be open from 6.00 AM to 1.00 PM. It has also been announced that any violation will lead to the shop being sealed!
- With the recent spurt in the spreading of the coronavirus, Greater Chennai Corporation has notified the following:
- Any violation during lockdown will entail Rs. 100 penalty and 14 days’ isolation.
- Social distancing MUST BE MAINTAINED in airports, Railway stations, Bus stops, Bus stations, bus depots, auto stands, and public places.
- Social distancing must be followed in shopping malls, public parks, theme parks, cinema theatres, marriage halls, banks, ATMs, Finance Organisations, Telecommunication offices, Petrol Bunks, Supermarkets, Grocery Shops, Pharmacies, PDS Shops, Milk Booths, Bakeries, shops which sell essential items, market places, rice/vegetable shops, fruit shops, chicken/mutton shops, fish shops, and non-vegetarian items shops!
- Social distancing must be followed in all public and private hospitals, colleges, schools, hotels, and Anganwadis Centres,
- Social Distancing must be maintained in government offices, public sector offices, private companies in Information technology and other hi-tech sector organizations,
- The facility for regular hand wash and sanitizers must be provided at the workplace. The place must be cleaned as instructed. And the area must be kept clean. They must also confirm workers washing their hands regularly!
- Any violation of the above will lead to the concerned shop/office being sealed and license canceled!
- Disinfection MUST be carried out ONCE IN EVERY 2 HOURS with hypochlorite solution and 2.5% Lyzol.
- Social distance of 1 meter must be kept between 2 persons.
- All persons visiting these workplaces MUST WEAR FACEMASKS.
- It is mandatory to keep sanitizers at the entrance! Any visitor - customers, staff, etc., must be watched and confirmed the usage of sanitizers before entering inside!
