Railway Ministry Decision to operate all non-air-conditioned trains from 1st June

Information is gathered that the Central Railway Ministry has taken a decision to resume operations of all non-air-conditioned trains throughout the country from 1st June.

The Indian Railways is set to operate 200 time-tabled non-air conditioned trains every day from June 1.

The Railway Ministry notified that this move is expected to provide relief to migrants across the country, and passengers will be able to make bookings online for these trains.

The ministry further informed that “The booking will be done only online and shall commence in a few days. Schedule and trains to be announced soon. Note that tickets will not be sold in the counters!”
