Sabarimalai temple corridors opened: Aani month Poojas to be performed without devotees!

The temple corridor of the Sabarimalai Lord Ayyappa temple was opened yesterday (Sunday, 14th June) for performing the poojas scheduled during the Tamil calendar month of ‘Aani’. However, the temple wore a ‘deserted’ look without the presence of the devotees.

The temple corridors were opened at 5.00 PM yesterday (14th June). Melsanthi Sudhit Namboodri lit the ‘Deepam’.

‘Prasadmas’ were distributed to the temple staff.

The temple corridors were closed by 7.30 PM.

As the devotees were not allowed, the location wore an absolutely deserted look!

The temple corridors were opened again today (Monday, 15th June) at 5.00 AM  and Abhishekham was performed by Tantri Kandadararu Mahesh.

Subsequently, Ganapathy Homam, Uaha poojai, and Uchi Poojai are to be performed and the temple corridors are set o close at 10.00 AM.

The temple corridors will be opened again at 5.00 PM, Deepardhanai will be performed at 6.30 PM. Athaazha Poojai will be performed at 7.00 PM.

The temple corridors will be closed at 7.30 PM.

The above daily events will be performed identically until 19th June.

On 19th June, the temple corridors will be closed at 7.00 PM and the temple staff will leave the temple premises.
