People in TN can use Kavalan SOS app to get protection from police harassment

In the last week, people belonging to the state of TN woke up with shocking news regarding the deaths of father and son in Sathankulam police station in Thoothukudi district. Many all overexpressed their unhappiness regarding these deaths.
Now, ADGP Mr. Ravi, head of crime against women and children unit expressed his views. On Sunday, 28th June, he spoke about how the Kavalan app could be utilized by the public to get protection from the policemen when they cross their limits.
In a video message to the public, ADGP Mr. Ravi explained how senior police officers would immediately know about police harassment when the people use the Kavalan SOS app or police control room numbers 100/112. By using this app, people would not only be able to escape from the criminals but also from police personnel harassment.
He shed light on how he has been receiving many videos of police beating the public and how said policemen must not assault the public. Using third-degree ways against the public would not bear fruit all the time and police personnel must also use scientific ways.
It must be noted that few police personnel indulges in those types of unacceptable acts and the entire department gets blamed. Policemen must serve the people and not show their superiority.
