The Tiruvallur Collector Maheshwari Ravikumar has announced that the factory associations can apply for the vocational training courses offered by the Skill development board before 30 July.
The collector announced that the vocational training is offered to the eligible factory associations and applications are welcomed from them. The courses are offered where the government pays one crore on account of the expenses for enforcement of the course and management of the trainees for 3 years.
The union ministry for skill development and entrepreneurship has taken steps to improve skills for entrepreneurship among eligible candidates from factory associations under the scheme of skill development and occupational pattern improvement. Those unions with proper managerial and enforcing eligibility can apply for this training. The application forms can be downloaded online and sent through the mail with the appropriate subject and required attachments.
