The period for the various concessions offered for the bank services during the lockdown phases as a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic has concluded. As such, the bank charges for various services offered have been revised and will be effective from today (Wednesday, 1st July).
The service charges for withdrawal of money from ATMs had been withdrawn for 3 months. With the 3 months period concluded, the service charges for ATM withdrawals will be effective again from today (1st July).
Further, the charges for not keeping a minimum balance in the savings account had also been canceled for a period of 3 months. With this period also drawing to a close, the banks may insist that their account holders must keep the minimum balance failing which some charges will accrue.
Also, the charges for all digital transactions had been withdrawn for 3 months. With this period also coming to a conclusion, the charges will be resumed for this service as well!
