UGC: The final semester examination is mandatory for the final year students!

Several states including Tamil Nadu have appealed to the University Grant Commission (UGC) that the condition that semester examination of the final year, students MUST be conducted before September must be withdrawn.
In this situation, the University Grants Commission has responded that the cancellation of the final year semester examination is not at all advisable and it is only for the good future and welfare of the concerned students that conducting the final year semester examinations is a MUST for their own lifeline!
Further, as per the guidelines already given, UGC has advised that permission is granted to all the Universities and colleges can schedule the examinations to wither online or direct-written modes. UGC has further confirmed that this guideline will not be applicable to 155 important and esteemed academic institutions.
